Patient Services
Help by assisting PALS (persons with ALS) with tasks in everyday living--home visits, errands, yard work, meal prep/delivery, etc. (Orientation is required.)
Administrative
Help the Chapter's office staff with mailings, computer entry and other tasks.
Advocacy
Help to lobby state and national legislators for support of legislation beneficial to PALS.
Grant Writing
Provide expertise in writing and reviewing grants for a non-medical, non-profit organization that provides free resources for PALS.
Media/Public Relations
Help communicate our programs, services and events by developing media contacts and participating in public awareness activities.
Photography/Video Production
Capture images of PALS, volunteers and events for Chapter Web site, newsletter, flyers and posters.
Special Events/Health Fairs
Create awareness and raise funds for the ALS Association.
